The phone itself is fully functional however the battery cannot hold a charge for long however it is replaceable. A charger is included so you can power it on and use the device even without a replacement however I would recommend a new battery. Edit: Battery may be functional I could have just been impatient while charging it is still holding a charge after 2 days of charging. still buy at your own risk
