This non regal 1775 George III copper Half Penny has a strong date and a strange struck through error on the reverse. This coin was dug in Virginia with a metal detector and has original surfaces that were only washed in water to remove the soil. The coin weighs 6.95 grams instead of the mint approved 9.86 grams.
