Offered is a small antique Japanese trinket box made of metal, most... likely gilded bronze, with wooden lining, featuring floral motifs and a group of Samurai figures. Old import tax duty stamp with George VI's portrait (1937) attached to the inner lid surface. Dimensions, approximately: 15 x 8 x 3.5 cm or 6" x 3 1/8" x 1 3/8". Weight 630 g. Fairly good overall condition, with the most of the former gilding being rubbed off, damage to the hinges, two splits/cracks to the lid's veneer inlay.
