Evelyn Genotti (Connecticut, 1914-2013) was an accomplished Connecticut-based artist who was deeply involved in the local Connecticut art community. She is known for her community leadership and for having her paintings displayed in the offices of several governors. Genotti co-owned the United Baking Co. in New Britain, but was also very active in civic life. She served as president of the Newington PTA and the Newington Volunteer Fire Department Company 2 Auxiliary. Genotti was a founding member and past president of the Newington Art League. In 1989, her "passionate perseverance" helped the league acquire a permanent home in the former Board of Education building.
