Ended up hardly using the thing so the tip is like new, it's spent most of its life just sitting attached to my iPad charging. I have on occasion taken it off and left it sitting on my desk just to not keep the battery constantly fully charged but these occasions haven't been very frequent so the battery shouldn't have very many cycles at all.
