Vintage Secure brand padlock. With original key. Case marked ' Pat.No.759879 English Made '. 1950's. Patent 759879 was applied for in 1954 and granted in 1956. The applicant was J. Banks & Company Limited of Excelsior Works, Wood Street, Willenhall. The patent refers to padlocks of the 'Scandinavian' type. Alloy case with steel shackle and key. Clean - No rust. Works fine. 57.5mm tall x 35mm wide x 14.3mm thickness. 29g in weight. Clean - No rust. Several hundred more keys and padlocks are available in my eBay shop.
