Pretty antique oil lamp standing 57cm tall overall. The lamp has a glossy black glazed terracotta socle base with a flared brass column embossed with a floral pattern and screw fit top. The font is a cornflower blue opaline glass which has been hand painted with a pattern of stylised fuschia flowers. The font has a brass undermount and collar into which is screwed a central draught Kosmos Brenner burner which has some wick remaining. A chimney is fitted that is appropriate for central draught burners and an antique shade gallery supports a globe shaped milk glass shade of unknown age.
