This is Ansonia’s “Lisbon” cast iron black enameled mantel clock. Cosmetically, the clock is in nice condition with some typical corner chips and a few specs of white paint drops. The dial, bezel, and escapement parts look very nice with no major flaws, other than some dirt. The hands are suspect, usually the cast iron clocks use the standard spade hand, but who knows? Mechanically, the clock ticks, and it chimes when the hands are cycled, but this is a clock that was in an old collection and was stored for years so expect to do some cleaning and adjusting. All in all it’s a great looking clock with a really great movement and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
