Solid silver thimble. Chester silver Assay Hall Mark ONLY remains as the rest is rubbed. Likely to have been made by Charles Horner in the early 1900s as its in keeping with his style and Assay office. On the top of the thimble are 4 small holes prob due to use and wear and tear. 4.7 grams - too good to scrap so selling for a low price
