this is a cover plate for a 3 sync narrow gearbox tunnel and has been extended. You will need one of these if you are planning to fit a 4 sync gearbox with overdrive into a narrow tunnel mk1 body. I have not fitted this in a car, it came with some spare parts that I bought. Please have a good look at the photos to make sure it will fit your vehicle.
