About the Author Angela Hicks is one of those rare adults who has kept her vivid, childlike imagination, and this is reflected in her illustrations. Largely self-taught, she has been drawing since a young age, and with the support of her mum eventually made art her dream career. Angie studied graphic design and worked in the licensing industry before becoming a full-time illustrator with Award.
