Antique carved oak moulding. 2.9m long Beautiful hand carved Oak leave design with a crossed sheet detail every 2ft centres with scrolled edging. Hard to age but could be 18th century but probably 19th. Was originally fixed in place by wooden wedges built into the wall and moulding secured to these with pegs.Evidence of this on reverse.
