Hand Crafted Antique Leather Case Suitcase, London, English, John Pound and Co

Starting life in the City of London in 1823 they were well known and respected manufacturers of luggage and travel goods. The makers mark only states London and therefore it could pre date 1899. Also under the carry handle are the Initials A.J.L engraved into the leather.
