This is an F-61 model Silvertone parlor guitar. It's in excellent condition with all original parts. It is free of cracks, with only a few minor blemishes. It appears as though it simply wasn't played very much despite it's age. In addition, it was kept in a safe environment for a stringed instrument. It comes with it's original case with a brown bakelite handle. The neck is solid with a tight fit to the body and it has comfortable string action. It has just been strung with Martin Monel strings. Sound wise it has that dry, crisp warmth that these old Silvertone, Harmony and Kay guitars from this era seem to possess. A real tribute to the makers of these great little guitars from a bygone era!
