One of Nikon’s most powerful flashguns and much in demand by professionals. The gun was supplied with an extra (5th) battery for added power and thus enabling an extraordinary range of 0.6metres to 20 metres (66 feet) and able to be used efficiently with lenses as wide as 14mm (with diffuser) and as long as 105mm in automatic iTTL mode. The gun takes optional power sources SD-7, SD-8A and SK6/6A and is fitted with sockets for linkage via cables such as SC-15, SC18 and SC19 (long version of SC18). The gun can be iTTL and TTL linked to camera bodies via SC-17, SC-18 and SC-19.
