This is a beautiful example of an early M42 hat that's in good condition for its age. As you can see this has some signs of wear to the fleece but there's no major damage or marks etc. I've measured it and it equates to a size 7, so it fits most average sized adults today. The date is VERY faded, but you can justaje out the '38' clearly in a good light. Please see the photos as they very clearly shown the items condition.
