PAIR OF STAFFORDSHIRE SPILL-VASE COWS WITH CALVES /CIRCA 1870

This antique pair of Staffordshire spill-vase cows with calves, made around 1870, is a prime example of Victorian-era art pottery. Handmade in the United Kingdom, these multicoloured ceramic figurines display the craftsmanship and style typical of that time period. The cows, featuring intricate details and a charming design, would have served as decorative pieces in a Victorian home. Purchased by my grandfather they were for a long time used as lamps as seen in some photos - the lamp bases have now been removed to return them to their original form. Due to their fragile nature collection would be ideal but postage also available
