I believe unused but it was in a boat I bought and hence cannot hand on heart say it is new. The photo I have taken showing the gears would appear to be brand new never used. These pumps are usually used as oil suction pumps to remove waste oil from an engine sump or to transfer fresh oil. Can be used for diesel fuel transfer as well.
