This is Appe iMac that had OS X 10.8.5 Software installed. The sofware would not update to latest or even a newer version of macOS. Had issues with Browser software not being able to be updated. Looked inot this, and it looks like it could be possible to update with later macOS, but you would need to create a boot disk from another iMac that has the later version installed.
