A substantial duplex oil lamp consisting of a moulded and tiered glass font fitted with a duplex burner which has been overhauled, polished and rewicked.This stands on a brass baluster shaped centrepiece and in turn on a black ironstone ceramic base. There is a small chip on the underside of the top edge of the base which has been coloured in and is not very noticeable. The burner has had the wick divider strip repaired in brass. The ruby etched glass globe is a quality modern reproduction. The whole lamp has been stripped cleaned and polished and stands at 23” overall.
