It comes with a removable thick foam cushion which vastly improves the user's comfort and has manually operated brakes to the rear wheels which can be operated by the occupant or the assistant using the fitted brake cable levers. The footrests and rear wheels are demountable to allow the chair to be loaded into a car boot, and can quickly be reassembled due to the quick release design of the wheels.
