Plinth Blocks often sit higher than the Skirting Boards and are wider than the Architrave. However, this is a personal preference! Generally, Plinth blocks must be thicker than the Skirting and Architrave – For instance, If the Skirting/Architrave are 18mm thick, the Plinth Block should be 25mm thick at least!
