I love this lens. I stopped me wanting the Summicron. I thought I wanted the v2 with the focus tab but I ended up with this one. Same optics, same quality, only difference is the focus stick instead of the tab. And you know what, I liked it straight away, I'd even say prefer it. So if you're looking for the type 2, consider giving the type 1 a shot. It's cheaper too.
