This pizzelle maker from Norway is very well made, quite heavy and seems almost indestructable. It has a stand or trivet to hold the hot iron after heating. This pizzelle maker has a beautiful design on the inside of both lids. It would be fun to make some of these decorative waffles. It makes 5 1/2" waffles.
