It does work, however it does not produce a strong steam jet and takes a long time. I was able to froth milk with it but it took a very long time and therefore I think it is better as a decorative piece for someone who likes vintage and rare coffee stuff. As such I’d recommend this is purchased without the intention of using it, it’s a vintage piece and probably is better not used. So yeah bear the above in mind before you purchase.
