Up for bid is the pictured antique carpet stretcher called The Cady. This one has the patent applied for on it, but I believe it was around 1900 that it got the patent. The cast iron part is approximately 13” long and the wood block is approximately 11 1/2” long. The teeth on the stretcher are in very nice condition and the mechanism moves nicely. Overall a very nice condition survivor. Please see all pictures and thanks for looking.
