British Empire Exhibition, Wembley - Cast Iron Ashtray With Herrick Lion

We continue to reduce our extensive collections, with this ashtray being purchased from the Orpington Collectors fair in the 1990s. 

 For sale is this cast iron ashtray with Herrick Lion. The rear reads -BRITISH EMPIRE EXHIBITION WEMBLEY 1924 REG.D.NO. It is an impressive item made to last. The ashtray is is very good condition condition, with no obvious damage but with some surface rush (this would clean off with wire wool).- see photographs which form part of the description. The ashtray measures 4 1/2 inches (width ) by 3 3/4 inches (height) by 3/8 inch (depth) - approx.
