This sideways glancing warder, equipped with shield and drawn sword, is a scaled-up reproduction of one of the viking chess pieces found in Uig Bay on Lewis in the 19th century. He stands around 35cm tall and weighs around 6.5 kg. Hand cast from an original model these larger pieces are frost resistant and weatherproof.
