Video cable, with a 3.5mm jack on one end and two RCA connectors

An AV cable, also known as a composite video cable, with a 3.5mm jack on one end and two RCA connectors on the other. The 3.5mm jack is a common audio jack, similar to those used for headphones. The RCA connectors are color-coded: yellow for composite video, and white (or sometimes black) for mono audio or the left channel of stereo audio. These cables are used to connect devices like camcorders, older gaming consoles (such as the Sega Genesis), or other media players to a television or monitor. The black cylindrical object on the cable is a ferrite core, which helps to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
