A charming pair of vintage hand-engraved natural slate wall plaques. This set features two beautifully detailed wildlife scenes: Grey Squirrel foraging at the base of an Oak tree. Harvest Mice climbing stalks of wheat/corn. Natural grey slate with a textured, riven finish. Each plaque measures approximately 34cm x 10cm. Very good vintage condition with some light surface marks and minor wear consistent with age (see photos). The engravings remain crisp and bright. Each piece features a pre-drilled hole at the top for easy hanging. These pieces have a wonderful rustic feel, perfect for a country cottage decor or as a gift for a nature lover.
