Here is a very nice and smooth running 240volt ac.single phase motor. It was removed from a small stand drill but runs fast at…2850 rpm. This is because it’s a two-pole motor and is correct for this type. Would very much suit a small lathe with gear reduction or speed control. Can also suit high speed drilling machines too.
