The LOLIN32 extends the popular ESP-Wroom-32 module with a charging circuit, a USB controller and connection and leads the pins of the module to the outside, so that prototyping can be started on a panel board. The ESP8266 WLAN-SoC from Espressif is very popular not only in the MAKER community, but quickly reaches its limits when it comes to contrasting interfaces and was therefore often operated together with an Arduino. With the ESP32, Espressif has now listened to the wishes of the customers and donates the following features: The scope of delivery includes the Lolin32 module and pen strips, which can be soldered if necessary. Update from 02/27/2025: From now on we deliver the board with an LDO voltage controller with 500mA instead of the previously used variant that only supplied 300mA.
