They test out as supplied to be resonant at 145 and 438MHz as centre frequencies. Supplied gain specs are in dBi, and are 3.5dBi at VHF resonance and 5.5dBi at UHF. This compared to a dipole is a small amount of gain at VHF and higher gain at UHF.
