Shawnee Smiley Pig Cookie Jar Cold Painted 1942 Original Rare. First let me say thanks for shopping with us! This pig is one of the very first fired at shawnee. There is a flaw on the right ear and it was fired over. In the very beginning they weren't painting them. Then after they pulled some of these first fired jars they saw blemishes and for that reason many jars were painted over to cover the blemishes over the next few years as they made them. So this one has a fired over flaw on the end of the ear as seen in picture 6. There are no other issues with this piece at all.
