Vintage corkscrew with a twisted wood root handle, there is a makers mark that I have been unable to identify but this sort often come from France. There is wear to the varnish in places. See close up photos. The end is in good order. Approx 13x13.5cm 103g (with cork which is required when posting) before packaging
