Incorporates triangular cut outs in scales of 1:25,000, 1:50,000, 1:100,000 and 1:250,000. Within the centre circle you are able to attach a piece of thread or thin comms cord to measure in mils or degrees accurately. The edge of the protractor shows three scales; the outer being marking in mils, the centre in degrees and the inner in black azimuths.
