The cable assembly has a DB15 male plug which connects to the SPE Expert's CAT socket. The other end has a phono (RCA) plug to connect to the transceiver's ALC socket, an 8 pin DIN plug which connects to the Band Data socket (Band Data 2 on FTdx9000) and a DB9 female plug which connects to the transceiver's CAT socket.
