Antique map of West Indies and Central America by Joseph Lowry printed 1852
Joseph Wilson Lowry (1803- 79) worked as an engraver and map maker for number of London publishers. In 1852 Chapman and Hall published his 'Table Atlas', in which this map appears. This was a comprehensive and up to date atlas of the world.
