Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty and lasting quality. The company produced incredible stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets, like the iconic Bear. Its endearing expression with glass eyes is adorable. He has a hand-stitched nose, an open felt mouth and two big paws that are ready for a hug. Teddy was expertly handcrafted in Germany between 1959-67 and uses the finest mohair plush. Approx 9” in size he has been used and has nice coloring. The button in the ear is missing. Please see photos for appearance and condition.
