Leave the eggs to dry (if there is a drop of egg dye left, soak it gently with a napkin), then apply the shelllack evenly on the still warm shell of the egg with a brush. Wrap the egg with a sheet of foil, the matte side is to the shell and lightly press with your palm to fit well.
