The external optical surfaces are clean and clear of marks or scratches. The diaphragm operates across the full range, the blades are unblemished. Focusing is smooth, zoom a little stiff. The test shots in photos 10-15 were taken with this lens mounted via adapter on my EOS 20D (photos 8/9).
