Hornby R.1039 OO gauge LNER 4-6-2 "Flying Scotsman" analogue DC model railway set, dating from 2003-2006. In excellent barely used condition. The most famous locomotive in the World, The flying Scotsman, represented here as she appeared from February 1924 to 1936, resplendent in LNER Apple Green and carrying her number 4472, and coupled with the corridor tender that enabled the non stop high speed runs between London and Edinburgh and was used until 1936 before being replaced with a standard tender in October of that year.
