The body of B&W ASW 855 subwoofer consists of bent panels for reducing resonances. The 38-cm driver with a Rohacell "sandwich" diffuser is mounted in front and driven by a kilowatt pulse amplifier. It is available in three types of finishes. When coordinating, first, B&W ASW 855 makes you pretty work for it (to move such a heavy machine around the room is not easy), and then apply the entire arsenal of subwoofer settings in the receiver. I don't know why at the design stage it was saved on a smooth phase regulator, which would be very useful. Also, in the subwoofer for such a cost I would like to see the sharp transition band switch. Instead, there is A/B correction selector that works oddly. In one position the limitation on the lower reproducible frequency is activated.
