You are looking at a very nice 1960's / 70's era red Shure Brothers microphone sleeve used for the SM76, 578, 578S and 615ES model microphones. Pic # 3 shows this very sleeve on a Shure 578 microphone showing how it was used to cover the mic when not in use.
