Nice example of a Petri 7s - not perfect, it has lived a life, but the things that should work all do! Aperture changes as it should, as does the shutter speed, and the light meter in the viewfinder and on top of the casing both seem to indicate correctly. Even the self timer works! So why the low price? Well if you over-enthusiastically pull up on the rewind lever, absentmindedly expecting that to open the back of the camera (it doesn’t, I completely forgot there’s a tab on the side to pull up instead), then the top casing comes apart slightly. You’ve got to give it a real pull, and the casing just pushes and clunks back into place, so it doesn’t affect the camera operation (and you’ll likely never be as heavy handed as I was…). Not film tested.
