Vintage Spanish Talavera Dragon Plate, Hand Painted Blue White Ceramic Charger.

Antique Hand Painted Kingdom of Leon Spanish Pottery Charger Plate with dragon pattern. A Spanish hand-painted ceramic charger, most likely from Talavera de la Reina or Puente del Arzobispo, both famous pottery towns in central Spain. The blue-and-white dragon motif is strongly associated with Renaissance-revival Talavera pieces made in the mid-20th century (1940s–1970s). The “Kingdom of León” connection you noted refers to the historic heraldic dragon or lion used on ceramics inspired by early Spanish heraldry. Ready for wall hanging. 📐Diameter 27cm 🔍Good vintage condition with some damage to the glaze on the rim as clearly pictured. ♻️ All packaging is either recycled or recyclable
