Very "rockabilly" in nature and it's omni-directional picking up a bit more background noise. The 3rd gen 630 was a 4 pin model allowing you to get either Hi Z or Low Z depending on your needs. You are looking at a classic older general purpose microphone made by Electro Voice in the 1940's & 60's though this is the 3rd generation 60's model.
