Vintage American food packet long range patrol, issued for long range special forces patrols in climates where water is readily available. used extensively in Vietnam for special patrols. contains a freeze dried meal and accessories, aimed to be light weight to carry without resupply. I believe this is a 1960s version, although they are quite difficult to date as they have no date stamp on the packet. Sold as a collectible item.
