This builder is a craftsman, and this amp is gorgeous. Covers a lot of tone ground, I used it without any pedals for high headroom, all the way over into beautiful smooth rock and roll overdrive. One of it's capabilities is a switch which takes the tone stack out of the circuit, and gives more/most gain, which is warm ( to my ears) and sounds like old school saturation and harmonics.
