It is a mystery painting in that the signature lower right might be dated 1917, 1947 or even 1997 and with initials as per the photos. This could have been a painting exercise done by a serious impressionist art student and who sought the very spot that Monet once stood and painted many years ago. It is lovely hanging in position on the wall emitting great calm typical of the feelings of inebriation when out in the countryside.
